Summer corporate event: review of the BuddyStar Summer Party
Last Saturday, BuddyStar hosted the Summer Party and provided an opportunity to relax and exchange ideas among colleagues, partners and acquaintances.
After BuddyStar successfully celebrated the opening of the new showroom in Emmendingen last December with around 400 invited guests as part of a Christmas market, the party atmosphere at BuddyStar reignited – this time in a somewhat smaller circle.
Memories of laughter, joy and fellowship
Our BuddyStar Summer Party promised an opportunity to relax and laugh together. We look back on an unforgettable event: The BuddyStar showroom in Emmendingen opened its doors last Saturday, on a balmy summer evening.
Under clear skies and fortunately accompanied by only a few raindrops, business partners, employees and acquaintances of the company came together to exchange ideas in an informal atmosphere.
In total, around 200 guests were on site. It was a time of celebration and togetherness that reminded us all that hard work and fun can go hand in hand.
Highlights of the evening
From delicious food to freshly mixed drinks and small programme items, everything was thought of. After our management together with family, who were directly involved in the planning of the event, welcomed the guests, the barbecue buffet of Gasthaus Sonne was opened.
In addition, the Flyingbar served refreshing lemonades and cocktails from a Buddy.
A video about the company, created by the employees, caused a lot of laughter and showed the open and transparent corporate culture.
One of the highlights was also a photo box: the photocamper Angélique captured numerous moments with fancy accessories in a living room atmosphere and allowed our guests to have a nice memory to take home.
Of course, musical accompaniment could not be missing at the BuddyStar Summer Party: So kamida sang from a Buddy at the beginning of our event.
At a somewhat later hour, the rock band Fireworks of Rock performed and got the party atmosphere on the dance floor into full swing.
Around € 8,500 for a good cause
During the Summer Party, donations of around € 8,500 were collected to support 48° Süd gGmbH. 48° Süd is a non-profit employment company that qualifies and employs people with access difficulties to the labour market.

A big thank you
“The evening flew by and unbelievably beautiful memories were made. Our Summer Party was a great opportunity to exchange ideas with partners and colleagues in a relaxed atmosphere, away from the daily stress. Many thanks to all the helpers, participants and, of course, our guests for the great event,” says Managing Director Wolfgang Walk.
We are already looking forward to our next BuddyStar event, which will certainly not be too long in coming.
