A food truck is a vehicle with an integrated engine. A food trailer is a trailer that requires a towing vehicle.

We have showrooms in Germany and Sweden where you can get to know our Buddys and get a feel for them. We would be happy to arrange a viewing appointment with you by phone or email.

In principle, you can drive our Retro Buddys with a Class B driving licence. Which class you need always depends on the permissible total weight of the motor vehicle and trailer. If the combination of car and trailer does not exceed the permissible total weight of 3500 kg, a class B driving licence is sufficient. With the B-96 extension, you can drive a combination of a maximum of 4250 kg, and with the BE trailer licence, the trailer alone can have a maximum total weight of 3500 kg. You can find the permissible total weight of your car in your vehicle registration document.

Together with our partner, we can prepare a leasing offer for you. However, the prerequisite for this is a corresponding credit rating and a registered business.

For an additional charge, you can also have the trailer delivered by a forwarding agent. We will carry out the transport order and the transport process for you with our logistics partner.

The BuddyStar sales trailers are produced in our German production facilities and then approved by individual inspection.

More than 1000 customers are already successfully on the road throughout Europe and the number is growing every day.

Either on their own premises or on private land. Often, companies such as DIY stores, supermarkets or office complexes also offer parking spaces. It is also worth calling the local community or city administration, as they often grant the concessions for parking spaces, e.g. for market squares. There are also public events such as food truck festivals, concerts or festivals where you can apply in advance.

Yes, all our sales trailers have 2 years TÜV and are approved for road traffic.

In addition to the double sink available in the basic equipment, a hot water register can be installed. As the interior and floor are completely made of stainless steel and there is a drain in the floor pan, the sales trailer is very easy to clean.

You can collect your sales trailer from the respective production facility after completion.

We can usually deliver your customised sales tag within 8-10 weeks after ordering and receiving the deposit payment.

Yes, of course you will receive a warranty. You can find more details on this in our General Terms and Conditions.

Yes, we remain a competent contact partner for you – even if the sales trailer has rolled off our yard. We will always be happy to help you, but you would have to bring the trailer to the corresponding production facility.

The sales trailer in sizes S and M has one axle. The L version is a double axle (tandem unit) with 10″ tyres. Our Silver Buddys, except for the Silver 380, are also all double-axle.

All our sales trailers have electricity: the Retro Buddys have 230 V 16 A. and the Silver Buddys 400 V / 16. For an extra charge, we also offer the 400 V / 16 A electricity package for the Retro Buddys.

Versions S and M have a permissible total weight of 750 KG; they are therefore unbraked trailers. The L version has a permissible total weight of 1,200 KG – thus a braked trailer. On request, we can upgrade the M version to a permissible total weight of 1,200 KG for an additional charge.

This is how much the sales trailer weighs in its basic configuration:
– 480 KG in size S
– 750 KG in size M braked
– 1100 KG in size L

Our Retro Buddy is available in sizes S, M and L.

The Silver Buddy is available in sizes 380, 450, 580, 680 and 740.

Yes, your sales trailer will be equipped and converted by our production facilities according to your wishes.

For an additional charge, you can have your sales trailer equipped with gas in our production facilities.
Included in the surcharge are:
– Stainless steel box on the front drawbar for the gas bottles
– Laying of gas pipes in the sales trailer and connection of the gas terminal equipment
– Certified gas test

You can either purchase the equipment directly from us and have it installed, or you can purchase the basic version of the trailer and take care of the purchase and installation of the equipment yourself, although the warranty/guarantee is void if you install it yourself.
